Weather Alerts Remain In Place As Another Storm Approaches The County

Another storm is on the way just hours after the passing of Storm Fionn.

A yellow wind warning remains in place for Clare, the rest of Munster and Galway until tomorrow, with Met Éireann forcasting strong winds and gusts of up to 110 kilometres per hour.

This combined with high seas could result in flooding in coastal areas.

An orange gale force warning is also in place for coastal counties.

126 properties in the Kilrush and Kilkee areas are without power following last night’s stormy conditions overnight.

ESB crews are investigating the faults and are working to restore power by noon.
