Water Tankers Provided In South East Clare Following Burst Water Main

Water tankers are being provided to residents in part of South-East Clare, as works aimed at addressing a burst water main continue.

Irish Water, working in partnership with Clare County Council is carrying out repairs at Rosmadda, Westbury, Corbally and surrounding areas and it’s expected that water will be restored by tonight.

Traffic management is in place while these works are being carried out.

In the meantime, additional water supplies are being provided at the Help Centre and at the Church in Westbury.

Customers are reminded to use their own containers when taking water from the tankers and to boil water before consumption as a precautionary measure.
