Water restrictions in place again today

Water will be switched off in the Shannon area from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m. today as part of measures from Clare County Council to conserve supply.

People without water are advised that static standpipes will be available at the following locations:
At Bealach Bri, near Shannon Gardai Station and Dun Áras Housing Estate, Ballycasey from 12.00 pm. to 5.00 p.m.   
and at Woodcross, Cratloe and Newmarket on Fergus Church from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.

Meanwhile in Ennis, static pipes will be in place at the Gort Road Industrial Estate, Cahercalla Estate on the Kilrush Road, at White Park, Cappahard on the Tulla Road and at Clarecastle Medical Centre from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. today.

Clare County Council are asking people to report all burst or leaking mains.  All emergency calls for water supplies should be directed to the Shannon Area Office will be open from 10.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m. for the weekend.  The office can be reached on 061-362319.
