Warning Over Serious Impact Of Brexit On Clare’s Hospitality Sector

It’s feared that Clare’s Hospitality sector could be heading for a recession-style crash.

Visitor numbers to Ireland were up 6.6 percent in the three months to June, but the number of UK visits to Ireland has fallen steadily since last year’s Brexit vote.

Figures from the Central Statistics Office reveals that trips by British residents were down 6-point-4 percent in the second quarter of this year.
