Clare County Council has condemned an incident in which mature trees along the Lough Derg shoreline were vandalised.
The incident occured on Monday, after a vehicle belonging to a contractor was broken into.
Tools that were taken were then used to damage the trees.

The incident is being investigated by Gardaí in Killaloe, and anyone with information is asked to contact them on 061 620540.
