It’s hoped that the first round of Covid-19 vaccinations at the Clare vaccination centre will be completed within ten days of its opening next week.

The centre at Treacy’s West County hotel is due to open this day next week on a phased basis and it’s expected that 8 to 10 people will receive their jab there every hour once all 20 booths are in operation.

From next Monday, those in the 65 to 69-year-old age group who have registered, will begin to receive their Astrazeneca jab.
