Works to upgrade sewerage infrastructure in Clarecastle will begin early next month.

More than two kilometres of new pipelines and upgrades to the existing Quay Road pump station will be undertaken as part of stopping the discharge of untreated wastewater in the village.

The five-week project will assist in facilitating the Clarecastle Streetscape Rejuvenation Plan which is being supported by Clare County Council.
