Unemployment Scheme Targets Expansion In Clare

A scheme aimed at helping those in long-term unemployment to join the workforce is targeting an expansion in Clare.

Turas Nua is looking to add an additional 160 employers around the Banner County, on top of the 490 already taking part in the programme.

The programme is a joint initiative between FRS Recruitment and Working Links and has seen over 1,100 people in Clare secure a job since starting up here in 2016.
