UHL Remains Most Overcrowded ED In The Country

Nurses say the region’s main hospital is the most overcrowded in the country once again today.

The latest figures from the INMO show 41 people were waiting for beds at University Hosptial Limerick this morning, 23 of those in the new Emergency Department.

A further 18 are being accomodated in overflow areas of wards.

It comes on a day when 272 people are waiting on trolleys at hospitals across the country.
