UHL Management – We Have Enough Nurses To Deal With Number Of Patients On Trolleys

Management at University Hospital Limerick is assuring that there are enough nurses working in the new Emergency Department to deal with the number of patients on trolleys.

But the UL Hospitals Group says that capacity continues to be the most worrying problem facing the hospital, with the planned 96-bed block not expected to be open for a couple of years.

An announcement is expected on whether a 60-bed modular unit will be given the green light in the coming weeks.
