UHL Highest Level of Overcrowding In The Country

Nurses say 59 people were waiting on trolleys today at the region’s main hospital.

The latest figures from the INMO show University Hospital Limerick has recorded the highest level of overcrowding in the country once again today, with 20 more patients on trolleys than than the next busiest facility.

31 of those have been left waiting for beds in the emergency department, while a further 28 are being accommodated in overflow areas of wards.
