Two men remain in custody in Ennis and Shannon Garda stations in relation to an alleged firearm incident in Shannon earlier this week.
Gardaí seized a firearm following a reported single gunshot in a residential area near Illaunamanagh cemetery on Wednesday.
No injuries or damage were reported after the incident.

A man, aged in his 20s, was arrested in Shannon on Friday, while a second man, in his late teens, was arrested in the Ennis area yesterday morning.
Both have been detained under Section 30 of The Offences Against The State Act and remain in custody this afternoon.
