Almost 2 dozen Clare jobs are set to be lost as The Lloyds Banking Group outsources operations at the Shannon-based St Andrew’s Group.
Over 200 people are currently employed at their facility in Dromore House and a spokesperson for Lloyds has told Clare Fm that work curently conducted there is being outsourced to another company – Wipro.

This will result in 189 positions transfering over to the new company but the remaining 23 or so positions may be made redundant.
Last year 80 lost jobs were lost at the St Andrew’s Group, which manages insurance claims and customer services for a number of companies, including MBNA – as part of a wider paring-down initiative by the group.
