Two Clare hotels have received the highest accreditation available under the Green Hospitality Awards programme.
The Armada in Spanish Point and Hotel Doolin were recognised by the GHA for reducing their energy consumption by almost a third and reduced the amount of waste going to landfill by over 60%.
Both hotels now join an elite group of just 7 Irish hotels who have achieved this honour, which has seen significant drops in amounts of water consumption, waste and use of electricity.
