Sinn Féin has announced that it will run two candidates in Clare in the next General Election.
The party is holding its selection convention on Thursday night, and has confirmed that both Shannon Councillor Mike McKee and Noeleen Moran of Ballyvaughan, who ran for Sinn Féin in the last general election, have been nominated.
With two candidates to be selected, both now look certain to be put forward at the convention, which takes place at The Local Bar and Restaurant in Ennis from 7:30.

Sinn Féin will become the second party to select its candidates in Clare, following on from Fine Gael who nominated Pat Breen and Joe Carey at their convention last week.
