NBRU Gives Backing To Completion Of Western Rail Corridor

The trade union representing public transport workers has lent its support to an expansion of the Ennis-Athenry rail line.

The National Bus and Rail Workers Union has written to leaders of political parties, calling for radical changes to Ireland’s transport system.

Reports state that the NBRU want the Bus connects and Metrolink projects in Dublin to be scrapped, and also the completion of the Western Rail corridor which would see the rail line from Ennis-Athnry extended ownards to Tuam, and then Claremorris.
