Fears For Clare Bus Future Will hit Vulnerable People Hardest – Hayes

An East Clare councillor insists that vulnerable people in isolated parts of Clare will bear the brunt of any change to Clare Bus services.

It follows a letter issued to its operators, Clare Accessible Transport, by the National Transport Authority, in which it was confirmed the contract for its delivery will be put out to tender.

The NTA insists this does not mean the existing routes will be disrupted and that the decision was taken to secure the delivery of relevant bus services in Clare.
