It’s claimed that Bus Eireann’s eligibility measures for issuing school bus passes in Clare ‘don’t make sense’.

It follows concerns raised by Independent TD Michael McNamara, who says a Broadford family have been informed their children are not eligible for tickets to Tulla but are for Killaloe.

Bus Eireann say they determine eligibility by measuring the shortest route from the child’s home to their school.
