Shannon’s Manchester Route Expansion Welcomed As Significant Tourism Boost

Shannon’s new Sinn Féin Councillor has welcomed the expansion of Ryanair’s Shannon to Manchester service as a significant boost for inbound tourism.

The budget airline is to expand its service to the British city from March 31st, meaning it will now fly between the two airports six days a week.

The move will add 12,000 seats at Shannon during peak tourist season.
