Musicians Descend On Miltown Malbay As Willie Clancy Week Gets Underway

Musicians from far and wide are descending on Miltown Malbay this weekend as the renowned Willie Clancy Week gets underway.

The festival attracts thousands of musicians, dancers and spectators to west Clare every July, with music and dance bringing the town to life.

Willie was a native of Miltown and a prolific uilleann pipes player – this year marks the 47th festival held in his honour.
