A major plan to lure more visitors to Kilrush town has been launched.
The Kilrush Tourism Strategy contains 113 actions, with short, medium and long terms goals in order to increase tourist traffic coming into the town.
Work has been ongoing on the initiative for the past 12 months and now it’s hoped that Kilrush can be developed as a destination of excellence, particularly in terms of active pursuits.
