Clare Tourist Attractions To Light Up Green In Support Of Industry Colleages Impacted By Pandemic

Green lights will be shining on Shannon Airport, Bunratty and King John’s Castles will light up this evening in support of those in the tourism industry who have suffered as a result of the severe impact of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Shannon Group has confirmed that the county’s airport and the two visitor attractions will light up from 7.30pm, in solidarity with tourism industry colleagues in the inbound tour operator, events industry, and incentives sectors,

The greening of these buildings normally takes place on St. Patrick’s Day as part of the global greening campaign, but Shannon Group says that given the unprecedented impact of the pandemic, it’s taking part in a campaign to shine a light on this vital sector of the tourism economy.
