The biggest weekend of Fleadh na Mumhan is kicking off this afternoon, with the return of the Gig Rig in the Abbey Street car park.
Thousands are expected in Ennis over the coming days, to soak up the atmosphere and take in some craic agus ceoil with the music and dance competitions beginning in earnest.
Along with the traditional aspects to it, the Fleadh will also see a number of Franciscan Friars ministering the streets of the county town to spread awareness of the Church’s response to climate change.
