A spokesperson for Shannon Heritage said; “It would not be appropriate to comment on this issue as  Fáilte Ireland are Ireland’s tourism development body and are responsible for the operation and management of national tourist information network. As Ireland’s largest commercial operator of tourist attractions, Shannon Heritage  is mandated to manage and develop a portfolio of compelling visitor attractions to entice overseas and domestic visitors.”
