Three Honoured By Mayoral Receptions

The Thailand cave rescue hero Jim Warny has thanked the people of Clare for their support since his involvement in the daring mission.
The Belgian native, who has lived in Ennis for the past fifteen years, was honoured with a Mayoral Reception at Clare County Council Headquarters.

Speaking last night, Jim outlined what Clare means to him.

Along with Thai cave rescuer Jim Warny, tributes were paid to both Cratloe hockey player Naomi Carroll and European Under-14 Showjumping champion Rhys Williams of Quin at last night’s reception at Áras Chontae an Chláir.
Both spoke of their pride in being recognised by their home county.
