Tens of Thousands of people have attended a mass demonstration against water charges in Dublin.
Protestors from across the country travelled to Merrion Square for the event outside Leinster House – including three bus loads from Ennis, Shannon and Scarriff who are part of the Clare says No to Water Charges Campaign.

Most of the protest passed off peacefully but objects have been thrown at Gardai by a number of protestors close to Leinster House in Dublin where members of the Public Order Unit – in riot gear were deployed.
