Thousands in Clare To Attend St. Patrick’s Day Parades

Thousands of people will attend St Patrick’s Day parades right across the Banner County today.

The biggest parade is in the county town, where things kick off at 11am; starting at the Council Offices and finishing up on the Station Road. It’s expected that over 10,000 people will line the route there.

Also today, parades in Feakle and Kilfenora begin at 12 noon.

In Shannon and Miltown Malbay, parades kick off at 2pm, while at 2.30, Killaloe’s parade gets underway.

Ennistymon and Kilrush are holding parades from 3pm. Doonbeg’s parade starts at 3.30, and the last of the day comes in Tulla at 4.30pm.
