Third Housing Report Finds House Price Inflation Slowing

House prices are continuing to rise but at a slower pace, according to a new report.

myHome.ie has found house price inflation fell from 9.5 per cent in the first three months of the year to 7.2 per cent at the end of the second quarter – the slowest of inflation in two years.

It’s the third housing report to be published over the past week – Daft.ie has pointed to a 7% increase in house prices in Clare to €177,000, while the Real Estate Alliance has said house prices in this county have jumped by 6% to €180,000.
