Survey Reveals High Trust And Listener-ship Levels For Irish Radio

New figures show that radio is Ireland’s most trusted medium for delivering accurate information on coronavirus that audiences find relevant.

The poll, published by IPSOS MRBI, shows radio shows 96% of people have listened to radio in the last four weeks, while 9 out of 10 tuned in the past week.

Radio has grown even more popular during the COVID-19 pandemic with 72% of people listening for at least the same amount of time, or longer, since restrictions on movement began.

Trust levels in radio are also higher than newspapers, and significantly higher than online media.
