Teagasc Warns Not Enough Advisors to Serve 2,000 Clare Farmers

Teagasc says their advisory service is at breaking point here in Clare. 

In 2008 the body had 22 advisors in the county however due to retirements and the public service recruitment embargo that figure has now dropped to just 10. 

However there are still 2,000 clients on their books in Clare and there are concerns now that there will be areas of the county that the service cannot cover in the not too distant future.
