Survey Of Bird To Be Carried Out On Shannon Estuary

A comprehensive new survey of birds along the Shannon Estuary is to be carried out.

Clare County Council have joined other local authorities, as well as Shannon Group and Shannon Foynes Port Copmany, in planning the year-long survey of over 1,200 hectares of land in Clare, Limerick and Kerry.

Sites in Clare which will be surveyed include Moneypoint and Innismurry/Cahericon.
