Supermac’s Owner Dismisses Claims Motorway Plaza Will Damage Ennis Businesses

The owner of Supermac’s has dismissed suggestions that a Barack Obama Style motorway plaza on the outskirts of Ennis would damage other businesses in the town.

Pat McDonagh recently re-ignited plans for a 10 million euro development at Skehanagh, which would include a service station, convenience shop, food court, children’s play area and charging points for electric cars.

It’s hoped the development would result in the creation of up to 100 jobs during the operational phase and a further 80 during construction.
