Supermacs Owner Applies For Permission For Ennis Premises Worth €10 Million

Supermacs owner Pat McDonagh has applied for planning permission to build a premises in Ennis at the cost of €10 million.

According to the Irish Times, the company has decided to apply with a new plan to build a motorway service station on the Limerick to Galway motorway.

A plaza controlled by Mr McDonagh was originally given permission by Clare County Council at the site, but was blocked by An Bord Pleanála back in 2016.

Mr McDonagh noted that the facility would employ about 130 full-time and part-time workers should it come to fruition.
