Students Send Clear Climate Change Message To Council

Clare students who have led recent climate change protests here are calling on Clare County Councillors to declare the issue as a crisis.

A delegation of students from Colaiste Mhuire in Ennis, supported by dozens of other students in the public gallery, addressed this week’s meeting of Clare County Council.

As part of their presentation, they made suggestions for improvement, including pedestrianising streets in Ennis Town centre on some days, and allowing school buses to carry more pupils from within the town.
