Students past and present are descending on Kilrush this afternoon to celebrate the local school.
The 25th anniversary of the amalgamation of the Convent of Mercy, the Vocational School and the Local CBS into a single community school is being marked this afternoon.
Kilrush Community School now has just over 460 students and 43 teachers and has seen huge expansion over the last two decades.
