It’s hoped large crowds will turn up for the fifth annual Foynes Air Show this weekend.
The one-day event kicks off just across the Shannon Estuary tomorrow from noon, with thousands expected to visit throughout the day.
Among the highlights this year will be the Swedish Air Force Historic Flight team bringing the supersonic attack aircraft the Saab Viggen, also known as Thunderbolt.
