“Strong Case” For Removal Of Two Week Quarantine Rule Made By Aviation Task Force

Clare’s senator is optimistic that the Aviation Taskforce has made a strong case about the removal of the two-week quarantine requirement.

The Taskforce’s interim report has called on the Government to lift travel restrictions, including the 14-day quarantine rule, which is being examined by the Cabinet sub-committee on Covid-19 today.

Other recommendations include a code of practice for Safe Air Travel and that existing financial support measures, including the Temporary Wage Subsidy Scheme be extended to support employment.
