Storm Warning for Clare As Tail End of Hurricane Ophelia Approaches

Met Éireann says it’s monitoring very closely a weather system which is moving towards the west coast.

A low level yellow weather warning remains in place for Clare for the coming four days, as the tail end of Hurrican Ophelia crosses the Atlantic.

Early indications show the weather system will pass close to the coast, leading to storm conditions, including strong winds, heavy rain and high seas by Monday afternoon.
