Storm Ali Claims Life Of Swiss Woman On Galway Coast

It’s understood a woman in her 50s who was killed when her caravan was blown off a cliff in Galway, was from Switzerland.

The alarm was raised at around 7.45 this morning at Claddaghduff in Clifden.

A search was carried out on the beach below and the woman’s body was recovered a short time later.
