Spike In Thefts From Clare Shops

Clare retailers are being urged to be more security conscious.

Garda statistics have revealed a 28% jump in the number of reported thefts from Clare shops in the first three months of the year.

49 of the 60 incidents have been recorded in the Ennis District, which also takes in much of South and East Clare, as well as the county town.
