Speculation is mounting over whether Leo Varadkar will offer Simon Coveney the role of Tanaiste.
The two men are believed to have met over the weekend to discuss Varadkar’s first move as Fine Gael leader.
He needs the backing of the Independent Alliance to become Taoiseach and is hoping to meet their TDs today.
