Gardaí are urging home owners and businesses not to become complacent in the new year following a spate of burglaries in Ennis over the Christmas period.
Three businesses on Parnell Street were targetted on Christmas eve and on Christmas Day, while further burglaries took place at premises on Woodquay on December 30th and in Merchant’s Square on New Year’s Day.
Houses at Castlerock and Cappahard on the Tulla Road, and at Abbeyville on the Limerick Road were also broken-in to between the 20th and 23rd of December.
