The Chair of Clare County Council’s Housing Committee claims funding announced for social housing amounts to very little for the county.
Housing Minister Darragh O’ Brien revealed plans this week that will see local authority discretionary funding increase from €2m to €6m for social housing projects.
It’s hoped the funding will help local authorities to accelerate the delivery of social housing.
