There’s been a marginal drop in the number of new cars sold in Clare so far this year, compared to the same period in 2017.
Latest figures from the Society of the Motor Industry in Ireland shows that from January until the end of October, 2,656 units were sold here compared to 2,713 in the first 10 months last year.
That marks a 2.1 percent drop, compared to a 4.4 percent reduction in sales nationally, while the Nissan Qashqai was the top selling car last month.
