Rehabilitation works are due to get underway at Bank Place Bridge in Ennis today.
The works, which are being carried out by Triur construction on behalf of Clare County Council include road resurfacing, vegetation clearance and repairs to the bridge beams.
Pedestrian access will be maintained at Bank Place and on Bindon Street for the duration of the works, which will take six weeks to complete, with vehicular access maintained under a Stop/Go and Traffic Light system.

No parking will be permitted on either side of the bridge from Easons and the AIB Bank to the Post Office, during the topside works.
