Sinn Fein Reject Effort To Restore Northern Power-Sharing Executive

Sinn Féin has rejected DUP efforts to restore power-sharing in the North – saying it may only collapse again in a few months for the same reasons.

DUP leader Arlene Foster had called for a “common sense” solution – which would also have made progress on an Irish language act.

But Sinn Féin’s leader in the North Michelle O’Neill says there’s nothing new in the DUP’s latest offer.
