Shannon Tunnel Fire-fighter training

Clare fire-fighters begin a three day intensive training course today in the 600 million Euro Shannon Tunnel.

The emergency personnel will be joined by colleagues from Limerick and Nenagh for the major response operation.

The training exercises which have been ongoing for a number of weeks come head of the opening of the new tunnel in June which will facilitate up to 16 thousands cars daily in a by pass of Limerick City.
