Shannon Aviation Trainee Initiative Will Boost Clare Economy

It’s hoped a major aviation training initiative in Shannon will provide a welcome boost to the Clare economy in the coming years.

More than 2,000 aircraft engineers and technicians are set to be trained by the Atlantic Aviation Institute in the next decade.

It will see trainees come on board for a two-year period for a mix of classroom-based and practical experience.
