Serious Concern About Safety At Junctions In Residential Areas

Serious concerns are being expressed about road safety at a number of junctions at busy residential areas in Clare.

The junction of the Shanaway Road and the Lahinch Road, as well as number of mergers from housing estates on the Tulla Road in Ennis have been highlighted as particular problems.

Clare County Council says safety remains a priority for them but that the number and severity of accidents determines a priority list of works and funds are allocated on the basis of that ranking.
