Security stepped up ahead of 9/11 anniversary

 

Security in New York and Washington has been stepped up ahead of the 9/11 anniversary – after police revealed they’d received a credible but unconfirmed terror threat.

It’s believed that al-Qa’ida may be planning to use a car bomb to target bridges or tunnels.

In a speech to Congress he announced a 447 billion dollars jobs package, aimed at helping the country’s 14-million unemployed.
